MAN introduces MAN TGX Efficient-Line which proves, thanks to efficiency-enhancing equipment including aluminium wheels, that today’s long-distance transport has the potential to save up to 3 litres of diesel per 100 kilometres.

Onnicar has recently collaborated with Metra Spa in the development aluminium reinforced profiles for fixed platform and three-side tippers. Onnicar is also studying potential applications for aerospace aluminium alloys.

New European Commission study on Greenhouse gas emissions from Heavy Duty Vehicles

In a study commissioned by the European Commission DG Climate action, the consultant presents an overview of the available technologies to reduce greenhouse gases from Heavy Duty Vehicles. A wide variety of measures were assessed and the known barriers and benefits were described for each measure. Lightweight Materials were pointed out as one area with a big potential.

Des jantes en aluminium pour le tracteur MAN “TGX Efficient-Line”

 

Le nouveau tracteur MAN, le “TGX Efficient Line”, prouve grâce à l’amélioration de l’efficacité de ses équipements, dont les jantes en aluminium, qu’il est possible d’économiser jusqu’à 3 litres de gazole aux 100 kilomètres.

Ridelles renforcées sur les bennes basculantes Onnicar

Onnicar a récemment collaboré avec Metra Spa dans pour développement de ridelles renforcées destinées aux plateaux et bennes basculantes à trois voies. Onnicar étudie également les applications potentielles des alliages d’aluminium de l’industrie aérospatiale aux véhicules industriels.

Nouvelle étude de la Commission Européenne sur les émissions de gaz à effet de serre des poids lourds

Dans une étude commandée par la Direction Générale pour l’Action pour le Climat de la Commission Européenne, les experts présentent un aperçu des technologies disponibles pour réduire les gaz à effet de serre émis par les poids lourds. Un large éventail de mesures y est évalué et il s’avère que les matériaux légers sont une voie fortement prometteuse.

Alla fine del 2009, la European Aluminium Association (Associazione Europea Alluminio) ha divulgato il manuale tecnico “Aluminium in Commercial Vehicles” (l’Alluminio nei Veicoli Commerciali) in risposta ai bisogni degli ingegneri progettisti e di processo. Attualmente è disponibile la versione in Francese.

Ruote in alluminio per MAN TGX Efficient-Line

 

MAN introduce MAN TGX Efficient-Line che dimostra, grazie ad un equipaggiamento che incrementa l’efficienza tra cui le ruote in alluminio, come l’attuale trasporto sulle lunghe distanze abbia la possibilità di risparmiare fino a 3 litri di gasolio ogni 100 chilometri.

Nuovo studio della Commissione Europea sull’emissione di gas ad effetto serra da Veicoli per il Trasporto Pesante

 

In uno studio commissionato dalla Direzione Generale “Azione per il clima” della Commissionne europea, il consulente presenta una panoramica delle tecnologie disponibili per ridurre i gas di scarico ad effetto serra di automezzi per trasporto pesante. Sono state valutate un’ampia varietà di misure e per ciascuna di esse sono state descritti ostacoli e benefici. I materiali leggeri sono stati evidenziati come un’area ad alto potenziale.
