Data and web-tool verification for aluminium coil coated sheet

The EAA web-tool has been further developed to address aluminium coil coated sheet. Hence, data related to the coil coating process have been collected among the EAA members for the years 2005 & 2006.

In the course of 2008 and 2009, such data were consolidated and integrated within LC models in order to develop environmental indicators for these aluminium products. The consolidated data as well as the web-tool for generating EPD on coil coated sheet have been positively reviewed and verified by Dr. Birgit Grahl, an independent verifier.

Several EPD were also submitted to the verifier for plausibility check. The report and the EPD package (Zip file) can be downloaded here:

The use of the EAA web-tool for coil coated sheet and the production of associated EPD are exclusively restricted to the members of the EAA building group and their associated European sites as listed below:

Any EPD on aluminium coil coated sheet produced by another company or site shall not be considered as part of the EAA EPD program.
